This high-profile exhibition has been many years in the planning as we work with curators and staff at Birmingham Museum and Art Gallery. ‘Dante in Dunoon’ is a theme that originated with ‘Degas for Dunoon’ in 2018 and aims to bring new audiences into our venue, as well as encourage wider audiences from our local community. The project will encompass public talks and gallery tours with Dante experts; and a community engagement programme for children, young people and families. We will commission a Dante expert to create interpretation panels for this exquisite exhibition working alongside Birmingham Museum staff.
