Kirn Primary School headdresses and masks

10 September 2024
Artist Jill Bryson ran workshops with 32 Primary 6/5 pupils from Kirn Primary School. Each child had two half days with the artist which took place in the weeks leading up to the Horticultural show to ensure that the event would be fresh in their minds that they would bring their families to the event. All children had to choose their favourite fruit to use as their topic. They made masks and head dresses inspired by the project including strawberries, guava, sweetcorn, mushrooms and much more! . The work was displayed at our very own Horticultural Show at Dunoon Burgh Hall on Saturday 21st September 2024.
Teacher comment – ‘What a fantastic opportunity our class have been given. Huge thankyou to Jill and Siobhan and the funding from the Burgh Hall’
