Annual Flower Show at Dunoon Burgh Hall

Wednesday 24 August, Burgh hall, Dunoon Horticultural Society, annual exhibition On 19 August 1892.Newspaper article from the Dunoon Observer referring to the Annual flower show held the previous week in Dunoon Burgh Hall. It reads:

‘The annual show of flowers, fruit, and vegetables of Dunoon Horticultural Society were held last Saturday in the Burgh Hall. The entries in all the classes were about equal to those of fomeryears. The display, however, was much superior, especially in the cut-flowers class. The judges were Mr James Cant, The Craigs, Greenock, and Mr John Methven, Blytheswood, Renfrew.’
