Cowal u3a – Researching a House with Margaret Hubbard

This month, Cowal u3a is delighted to welcome Margaret Hubbard, a local genealogist, tour guide and historian.

Margaret Ioves a good story! But more than that, she believes that the real thrill is getting to the bottom of a good story – learning everything she can about circumstances and historical facts that bring the characters, buildings and settings to life. And then there is the joy of sharing the stories with others

Lots of people are interested who lived in their house before them. Houses like people have their own stories. In this talk, Margaret will explain how to find the former occupants of a house. She will explain this through examples of houses in Innellan she has researched.
