Artmix @ Dunoon Burgh Hall

Join us for these Artmix workshops with incredible model-maker and stop-frame animation expert Jim Parkyn (Aardman Animation). The workshops will lead young people through model-making and using apps to create their own animation.

This is a taster session for our after-school club starting in the summer term.

Artmix is a multi-art and film project for young people at Dunoon Burgh Hall, funded by the National Lottery’s Young Start Fund. It is a two-year project exploring the fundamental skills of filmmaking and animation with world-renowned artists and filmmakers such as Jim Parkynand Alasdair Satchell. The project will cover model-making and stop-frame animation, music video and short filmmaking, and film editing and composition.

The project is open to all young people aged 8 – 21 years and we’ll be running more taster workshops during Easter on the 16th and 17th April with a weekly film and animation club starting in the Summer Term.

All workshops are FREE! To sign up, please contact kerry@dunoonburghhall.org.uk.
