Dunoon Burgh Hall (myplayer.uk)

We're celebrating the 4th of July here at the Burgh Hall!

Here is a unique opportunity to see two local short films on the big screen in our Main Hall.

"Downtown Dunoon" explores the impact of the American naval presence on local culture and people's lives, as seen through the eyes of a pub landlord and a CND activist.

These two original monologues were written and directed by Julie Forrester of Dunoon Players and filmed by local film maker, Neil Boyle. They star Elaine Graham and Ian Tyson of Dunoon Players and were filmed in familiar locations in the town.

Tickets are free but booking is essential to ensure we are able to provide a safe environment for all those attending. Please book in household or extended household groups.

If you're joining us for one of the screenings, then why not also join us for lunch? Our cafe are offering a taste of America with a themed menu on Sunday 4th July - you can make your booking with one of our cafe team.
