Sunshine Recorder

These strips are record sheets from a sunshine recorder and measures the hours of sunlight by burning through the cardboard. These date from 16-23 April 1955 and we think they come from the weather station sited at Benmore. The main part would be a glass sphere on a metal stand. These were made by John Campbell and Stokes Ltd.
