This Preview is for our forthcoming exhibition “Joan Eardley 1921 – 1963” – a unique curation of works which are on loan from Argyll and Bute Council, West Dunbartonshire Council and The Lillie Art Gallery. The exhibition will run from 29th April to 12th June 2022.
We’re delighted to be welcoming Jan Patience to this event. Jan wrote about art for The Herald newspaper for 15 years, and now writes a weekly art column for The Sunday Post. She is a founder member and former co-chair of Women in Journalism Scotland.
During this Private View, Jan will host an informal discussion with the Samson ‘girls’, Ann and Pat, where they will talk about their memories of ‘Aunty Joan’ – making this a must for any Eardley enthusiast!
Admission is free, however places are limited so booking is essential.
