Description
We’re delighted to announce the launch of Artmix, a multi-art and film project for young people at Dunoon Burgh Hall, funded by the National Lottery’s Young Start Fund and BFI/ Screen Argyll.
The two-year project will explore the fundamental skills of filmmaking and animation with world-renowned artists and filmmakers such as Jim Parkyn (Aardman Animation) and Alasdair Satchell. The project will cover model-making and stop-frame animation, music video and short filmmaking, and film editing and composition.
The project is open to all young people aged 8-21 and we’ll be running taster workshops in the Easter Holidays on the 16th and 17th April from 10am to 3pm. We will also be starting a bi-monthly film and animation club starting in the Summer Term.
All workshops are free! Click the link to book – please note you need to book for both days individually.
