Sans Frontiers

Brainchild of South African artist, Jonathan Comerford, the exhibition will comprise works by eminent artists from Africa, the UK, Europe and America, all freely using the egalitarian technique of the (lino) block-print to express their ideas and observations about today’s complex, highly visible and somewhat discordant, world. 

The artists represented – some with printmaking experience, others ostensibly painters or sculptors – have been given a free rein to interpret the notion of art without borders in their own way and the results of these carved impressions have been excitingly realised in the printmaking workshop by master-printer, Jonathan, himself.
