Painting From Our Dreams workshop with Paddy Allen

Enjoy painting and drawing with like minded people in our weekly drop in sessions which will provide a relaxed atmosphere for beginners and the more experienced.
The Scottish Mental Health Arts Festival will take place from 10-27 October 2024, exploring the theme of ‘In/Visible’ and considering what it means to be ‘visible’ or ‘invisible’ when we think about our mental health.
Which aspects of our mental health do we keep hidden and which do we feel able to share? How can we use the arts and creativity to make mental health more ‘visible’, in a way that engages people and challenges stigma?
Join Paddy Allen for this “Painting from our Dreams” workshop that explores the Festival theme.
This is a chance to sit with acrylics, watercolours, pencil or charcoal and find ways of simply playing with colours and shapes in a free and abstract way to give expression to the thoughts and feelings that exist within.
This workshop will run alongside our normal Painting Thursday session, and will take place between 11am and 3pm. The session is FREE.
Come along and join in – it would be great to see you there!
