Endurance riders Jenny Graham & Lee Craigie (Round the World Record holder and former pro Cross Country Mountain biker) come together for a truly unique night of storytelling and adventure, in association with The Bothy Project in Dunoon.

Their friendship spans over a decade, and in that time, the pair have shared many adventures and achievements in the cycling world; crossing high mountain passes of Colorado, sleeping in remote Scottish glens, and whooping their way down Alpine descents.

But their experiences transcend personal achievement; they are most passionate about sharing the stories of others and giving voice to those less heard. A shared background in Youth Work brought them together to run The Adventure Syndicate, an organization that (at the time) focused on empowering and educating school groups—particularly girls—to explore what adventure meant to them and discover where they might find their own limits.

Jenny went on to present with the Global Cycling Network’s documentary channel, narrating tales from the farthest corners of the globe—from the enigmatic FARC rebels in the remote Colombian mountains to the nomads of the Gobi Desert.

Lee continues directing The Adventure Syndicate and became Active Nation Commissioner for the Scottish Government, advocating for a fitter and more accessible Scotland.

Their parallel lives brought them back together as they both published books in 2023.

“Coffee First, Then the World” by Jenny Graham shares tales of her record-breaking cycle around the planet. Over the course of 18,000 miles, ridden solo and with no support crew, in 2018 Jenny Graham rode into the record books finishing in 124 days and 11 hours. Jenny wasn’t born into a culture of elite sport, but through a mad tapestry of life experiences, she gained the grit and the humor to truly strive. She believes you never know what you might end up doing, as long as you are open to change and laughter.

“Other Ways to Win” by Lee Craigie tells her story of discovering the freedom of cycling while at school, her journey to becoming a national mountain bike champion, and her life after racing on cycling adventures around the world, while encouraging other women through her work with The Adventure Syndicate.

Expect a night full of stories and laughter as the two share what makes them tick and inspires their adventures.
