The Suffrage Trail: Dunoon and the Fight for Women’s Suffrage walk

  • 1.30pm to 2pm
  • Meet at Castle House Museum

Have you ever wanted to see the town through the eyes of the suffragettes? Join Iona Tytler from Castle House Museum on this short walking tour to follow in their trailblazing footsteps and explore Dunoon’s connection to the suffrage movement.

Learn about the often overlooked work of the suffragettes on the Clyde Coast, and hear about the remarkable women that met in Argyll Street and rallied for the cause.

For accessibility, please note this is a moderately-paced walk over a small distance. Leaving from Castle House Museum, the walk goes along Argyll Street to The Burgh Hall, there are five stops in total.
