Guest speaker: George Cleland, u3a in Scotland

This month, u3a are pleased to welcome George Cleland, Chair of u3a Edinburgh and the representative for Cowal on the u3a Council. George will guide you through the many ways you can make the most of your u3a membership.

He’ll introduce the wide range of talks, groups and other activities that can enrich the u3a experience. He’ll also explain how u3as across Scotland are connected through shared events and talks on both common interests and specialist topics.

George will also highlight the support available from the Third Age Trust – the UK-wide body that offers subject specialists for interest groups, a library of resources for individuals and groups, and access to a variety of online learning opportunities.
