Dunoon Film Festival Returns

A special weekend of films for everyone – with a European Flavour

Friday 11 November to Sunday 13 November 2022

Dunoon Burgh Hall Trust is delighted to present this fabulous selection of films with a European flavour as Dunoon Film Festival returns to its traditional November weekend for this slightly smaller 8th edition of our celebration of cinema.

We hope you have been enjoying our monthly film selection, Dunoon Film Festival Selects, at The Studio Cinema, designed to help us all return to the joy of watching great films together. We are sure you will also find something really interesting to enjoy over this Dunoon Film Festival weekend.

Make sure to grab a limited-edition Festival Pass for just £15 to help you enjoy everything you want to see over the three days.

Dunoon Film Festival has been able to return with Dunoon Film Festival Selects and this fantastic weekend of treats thanks to funding and support from Film Hub Scotland and the BFI FAN Film Exhibition Fund.  We are grateful for the continued support of our team here at Dunoon Burgh Hall and our partners at The Studio Cinema Dunoon.

We love bringing varied and interesting films to our audiences here in Dunoon and we look welcoming you all back in person to DFF22.

Certificates

Each film in the programme has a certificate from U (Universal) to 18 (over 18s only). It is a legal requirement to observe this certification. PG indicates Parental Guidance – PG films are not suitable for children under eight years of age. A 12A certificate requires that an adult accompanies children under 12.

Any film not already certificated by the British Board of Film Classification has been given a suggested certificate, which we will treat as legally binding.
