Hopscotch Theatre Company Presents “Puss n’ Boots” – 7.00pm performance

This pantomime from Hopscotch Theatre Company will leave you feline like the cat’s whiskers!

The Kingdom is in the grasp of an energy crisis. Quickly running out of magical coins to fuel all the wishes its inhabitants make at the magic wishing wells.

The dastardly ex-fairy ‘Oily Gark’ has been hoarding all the coins for himself. The only person who can save the day is his old Friend Fairy Nuff but her magic is running out as well. With one last spell, helped by the audience, she enchants a pair of magical boots that will make a hero out of anyone who wears them.

She recruits a vain young man to be her hero but he doesn’t like the boots, they aren’t cool and he tosses them away immediately. His pet cat Puss dons the boots and magically starts walking upright and talking. With a little coaxing, Puss convinces Justin that they have to do what Fairy Nuff requested and stop Oily Gark with a little help from the royal family.

This is a 55 minute show, full of fun, that all ages will enjoy. Includes original songs, music, scenery and a little pantomime magic…
