The Wizard of Oz

Join us for one of the greatest films of all time, starring Judy Garland. The Wizard of Oz is celebrated for its use of Technicolor, fantasy storytelling, musical score, and memorable characters.

Young Dorothy Gale and her dog Toto are swept away by a tornado from their Kansas farm to the magical Land of Oz, and embark on a quest with three new friends to see the Wizard, who can return her to her home and fulfill the others’ wishes.

Complimentary refreshments will be served from 2pm before the film begins at 2.20pm. This relaxed screening is particularly suited to people with dementia and their carers, but everyone is welcome. No need to book.

Creative Blethers are all-inclusive creative experiences for the elderly, carers, and adults with disabilities or mental health concerns. Creative Blethers are free, but donations are very welcome.

Door to door, wheelchair-friendly transport is available to and from your home with friends at Interloch Transport. Please email wellbeing@dunoonburghhall.org.uk to arrange transport.
