We live with daily news and warnings about how climate change and other environmental and planetary feedback loops are threatening our future but there are few spaces where we can discuss the information’s impact on our lives and what we can do about it.
Research shows that if we can make sense of our thoughts and worries through conversation it’s easier to take steps to mitigate things, small or big. Climate conversations are intended to give people a space to share their concerns in a friendly environment and they may have or not have any direct outcomes.
By providing these conversations the exhibitors are joining a large movement to provide space to facilitate such conversations all over Scotland. The conversations will be based on the principles set out by SCCAN (The Scottish Climate Community Action Network).
