Creative Blethers Friendly Film Club: Casablanca

Casablanca is an undisputed masterpiece and perhaps Hollywood’s quintessential statement on love and romance, with career-defining performances from Humphrey Bogart and Ingrid Bergman.

A cynical American cafe owner struggles to decide whether to help his former lover and her fugitive husband escape the Nazis in French Morocco.

This is a relaxed screening, so people are welcome to arrive late or leave early to suit themselves. Complimentary refreshments will be served from 1.45pm with the screening starting at 2.15pm. This relaxed screening is particularly suited to people with dementia and their carers, but everyone is welcome. There is no need to book.

Creative Blethers are all-inclusive creative experiences for the elderly, carers, and adults with disabilities or mental health concerns. Creative Blethers are free, but donations are very welcome.
