Marcelle

A group art exhibition comprising the work of Karen Strang, Suzanne Williams, Scott Simpson, and Tilda Williams-Kelly.

The four artists worked in the same studio hub at Marcelle, Alloa until 2021. Since then, the Covid pandemic and a necessary relocation to Lime Tree House has meant them leaving those original workspaces, but they still carry the collective spirit and ethos of Marcelle in their new premises. They would like to dedicate this exhibition to Colm Docherty, who was one of their first visitors back in 2014 and was extremely supportive of the Marcelle House Art project. His enthusiasm and vision on that first visit helped place them on the map of creative endeavour and he continued to work towards giving them that platform.
