Ari Eisinger, On rare British Tour comes to Dunoon Burgh Hall.
ONE of the greatest fingerstyle guitarists in the world – ARI EISINGER – will be touring the British Isles in early October 2017.
Opportunities to see Ari in concert don’t happen nearly as often as fans would like. Known to music fans and guitarists across the globe, it is extremely rare for Ari, from Philadelphia, USA, to give concerts across the Atlantic – in fact this will be his first full-length tour in this part of the world.
Ari is a world-renowned performer of 1920s and 1930s country blues and ragtime guitar. His incredibly authentic approach has won acclaim worldwide and he has been described as “sounding like four people playing at once”.
He has toured the United States, sharing the bill with some of the great names in the history of fingerpicking guitar – Taj Mahal, Dave Van Ronk (an inspiration for the hit Coen Brothers film Inside Lllewyn Davis) and the legendary Doc Watson. He has also performed on stage with blues hero John Jackson.
He is looking forward to ending his exclusive British Isles tour in Dunoon at the newly refurbished Burgh Hall.
